Visit to the Congress and Thyssen Museum in Madrid
On June 16th, 4 ESO and Year 1 International Baccalaureate students visited the Congress in Madrid where we were welcome by two diputies from Albacete, Carmen Serrano, a former Bachiller Sabuco student, and Emilio Sáez, a former Mayor in Albacete. We were explained the history of the building including anecdotes. Then, we went to Thyssen where students did a gymkana about paintings selected in "A day in New York". Finally, rowing in the Retiro pond before coming back to Albacete. Perfect icing on the cake!!!!!
